Pronouced 'Bochie' this is ther Italian version of the popular French game boules (pronounced...erm...boules).\\n\\nPlayed in a very similar way, the set consists of 8 brightly coloured balls and the jack (which is officially called the pallino). Basically, the rules are such. The first team throws their ball aiming to get as close to the jack as possible. The second team then throw their ball. If they are further away (outside) their competitors ball they throw again. They continue to do this until they are nearer (inside) their competitors ball. If they fail to 'get inside' then their competitor has won. If 'get inside' then the competitor takes their turn to get inside.
